Used photography books04 Jan 2005 13:28 GMT1
I'm looking for Michael Freeman's "The Image - designing effective
pictures" book. Sadly, it's out of print. I've seen people selling
used copies at Amazon for 80$ and more, way expensive for me. Can
anyone here point me to other used book shops in internet, please ?

I have been reading about the flash exposure compensation feature

have washed out subjects because of too much flash power.
If I dial in -1 FEC, do I need to adjust the (non flash) exposure

Nikon F100 & Metz 54AF-1 flash03 Jan 2005 15:51 GMT11
I am shopping for a flash for my F100 and have been reading the specs on the
Metz units. The description on Adorama says the 54AF-1 for Nikon was
designed for the digital cameras. Why would a flash be different between
digital and film cameras? How compatible is this with the F100?

Q.  What is the sharpest Canon lens?03 Jan 2005 03:25 GMT177
Which Canon lens is the sharpest?
Some say the 100 f/2 (not the macro version).
Others vouch for the 300 f/2.8L.
So which is it?

Can anybody quickly highlight the benefits of infra red photography
and the type of effects to be expected, situations where it would be a
good idea to do some, special equipment required ? Brands recommended
