Will my old lenses work on Nikon F6?25 Nov 2004 00:37 GMT21

Well it appears that Leica will be the first to have a completely hybrid
35mm / digital camera system for the Leica R8/9. It looks very enticing, I

Anyone know what's happened to the Saunders Photo Web site? The (not so)
old name that I have for it no longer resolves in DNS:

Leica questions23 Nov 2004 03:01 GMT2

When did Leica move away from the bottom opening design to a hinged

[SI] Delays, delays, delays22 Nov 2004 23:39 GMT3
       Hello all you anxious SI'ers
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am going to be away from my
computer at the time that the SI gallery normally goes up, and have no time
to organize a replacement administrator. Therefore, the gallery will be
400UC film in Nikon Coolscan V?22 Nov 2004 22:06 GMT7
Practical Photography (UK) just did a review of half a dozen scanners,
and top-rated the Nikon Coolscan V, with the Minolta 5400 coming 2nd.
Because a friend has one and it worked well for me, I was just about to
buy a Minolta 5400 until I saw this review.  The Coolscan V was rated

I like the desert, but where else does sand rear its gritty head?

I have a Canon Optura 300MC PRO tripod and all six
of my flip locks decided to break at the same time.
Not that it would have been better if just one busted.
Minolta Maxxum 7000 inquiry21 Nov 2004 23:30 GMT2
I was given a Maxxum 7000 camera today with 2800af flash and 50mm

Minolta made a 35-70mm macro zoom which is as good as the mf version
