| Older SLR and Red Eye Reduction Flash | 30 Nov 2004 21:49 GMT | 7 |
I'm starting to shoot more with my old Pentax ME-Super and would like to get a new/used flash to operate with it. I notice that the flashes from that era, the AF series, don't have red eye reduction. Am I wrong on this topic? Can anyone recommend a flash to use with this

| Need Pentax ME Super winder contacts. | 30 Nov 2004 18:03 GMT | 4 |
Does anyone know of a source for the winder contacts strip located under the bottom cover on the rewind side of the ME Super? One of my contacts is coroted and makes intermittant contact with my winder. I suppose I could buy a junker and strip it.

| Nikkor 24-120 | 30 Nov 2004 01:30 GMT | 8 |
I was given a nikkor 24-120 from a friend to use and keep if I like it. The lens is brand new, he only used it for a couple of rolls. He gave it up a couple of years ago as he says that it's optical performance is mediocre. I used the lens yesterday, but yet didn't have the results ...

| Motor winder for Nikon FA - what else would it fit ?? | 29 Nov 2004 23:58 GMT | 2 |
I once owned a Nikon FA, and bought for it a cheapish motor winder - it was not a Nikon one. I long since got rid of the FA (someone stole it), but still have this motor winder this is useless to me. Any ideas what other bodies this might fit? I will sell it, but would

| local vs. internet store | 29 Nov 2004 21:39 GMT | 8 |
I'm almost ready to spend several thousand dollars on camera gear. Given the fact that many local photography stores can't come within 15-20 percent of the prices available at reputable online stores, what do I get for the extra bucks if I stick with the local dealer? Can, or

| Cannon EOS 630 Problem | 29 Nov 2004 05:56 GMT | 6 |
I have an EOS 630 and it has been a great camera for 14 years but it has stopped "talking" to any of my lenses. No AF or apature control. Cannot set to AF. It doesn't seem to know there is a lens there. Wondering if anybody ever heard of this problem and if it's now FUBAR.

| Canon EF 28/1.8 USM Diaphragm Blades | 28 Nov 2004 18:11 GMT | 19 |
I used my canon EF 28-105/3.5-4.5 to take some snaps as a guest at a wedding recently. The out-of-focus point-light sources are so pleasingly rendered that I am thinking of upgrading my 28/2.8 to the 28/1.8. I know the 2.8 is said to be sharper, but the zoom produced

| Lens step-down rings | 28 Nov 2004 01:09 GMT | 8 |
Do step-down rings cause vignetting with wideangle lenses? For example, putting a 52mm filter on 58mm threads via a step-down ring. Cody, http://community-2.webtv.net/AnOvercomer02/PhotographyLinks

| Cokin filters | 27 Nov 2004 22:31 GMT | 13 |
as I see my lens collection growing, I am discovering that each lens I own has a different filter diameter. I have all my lenses with a UV filter on, but I only have my old (and a bit tired) 58mm CPL and need a 50mm, a 72mm and in the near future a 67mm CPL. I do not have any other ...

| Nikon F6 - anyone actually bought one?? | 27 Nov 2004 19:14 GMT | 5 |
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has bought a Nikon F6 and what they think of it. There are numerous "reviews" on the web, but most are from people who have never seen one. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has actually paid for one, and is using it, rather than ...
