Eyepiece/viewfinder adapter sizes22 Oct 2004 23:21 GMT2
Does anyone have any information on the standardization of viewfinder
accessory clips - or know where there is info? I haven't found much
through internet searches so far. I am trying to find out how standard
they have or have not been. Specifically, I have a right angled Canon
MF lens on digital body22 Oct 2004 17:20 GMT45
If you attach a manual focus lens to a digital body, does the focal
length behave the same as when on a film body?
e.g. If I took the 50mm f1.8 from my Nikon FM2 and attached it to a D70,
would I get the same field of view? - If not, what focal length would it

I cant see the volt designation on the batteries and I need to replace them.

Leica R422 Oct 2004 02:02 GMT29
Okay, so now I have a Leica R4 and a couple of Leica lenses (35mm f/2.8
Elmarit and 180mm f/3.4 APO-Telyt-R). Apart from discovering just how
expensive they are on the American used market (KEH want over $2000 for
the latter), are there any users out there who can comment on the

[Whine] Filter Sizes21 Oct 2004 20:42 GMT5
While I was reading the Contessa 35 thread about filter sizes, my
latest lens purchase arrived.  It requires a 67mm filter.
With this addition, the following filter ring sizes are represented
in my collection:
Flash not going off OM10 + Quantaray QB350a21 Oct 2004 19:30 GMT1
I got these from two different sources.  The flash goes off when I use
the button on the flash, and it sits well in the shoe.  It doesn't go
off when I take a picture with the OM10.  Am I missing something?

Price issue on Canon EF 70-200 F4 in Hong Kong21 Oct 2004 13:48 GMT2
I want to upgrade my telezoom to Canon's 70-200mm f4 but found that there is
a big price different between the US online and the HK street price.  The
average price in US is more than HK$1000 lower than that in HK!  It should
be the other way round years before.

eos 1n shutter doesn't fire21 Oct 2004 01:47 GMT5
I have a canon eos-1n that seems to work in all aspects except for the
shutter not working. When I press the shutter release, it shows the
exposure info in the viewfinder and the lens auto focuses. When I press
the shutter release fully, the lens stops down, but nothing else
