Hey Brian,
Sorry for the bother but I was wondering if your backlit shot was
taken at Halsted and Jackson.
Just wonderin'.
Nikon 200 f4D ED-IF AF Micro04 Oct 2004 03:00 GMT3
Any comments on this lens?  I'll be using it for macro work, for the most
part, but I am curious as to how it will perform, say, as a portrait lens as
well.
Thanks much.

Help: Zeiss 1.4/50 mm better than Yashica 1.4/50 mm???03 Oct 2004 23:27 GMT3
I need an "expert" opinion! I've been offered a good price for a Zeiss
lens 1.4/50 mm for my cheap yashica fx camera. At the moment I've got
the 1.4/50 lens by Yashica. Would I really notice better picture
quality if I buy this new lens?? Would the superior quality of Zeiss

I wanna give slid films a try during my photography study. Here are
some of my questions:
1. Which equipment(s) do I have to buy so I can view slids? Of course
cheaper is better.

Targus Camera Bags.03 Oct 2004 18:08 GMT3
I bought a Targus camera bag at Walmart today. I looked at bags at the
local camera shop today that were similar to the Targus bag that cost
about $50.00, and afterwards I found the Targus bag on sale for about
$13.00, which was regularly about $16.00. A bargain compared to the bags
Yashica Electro GSN won't stop flashing03 Oct 2004 13:23 GMT1
I just tried my new-old Yashica Electro 35 GSN with a flash for the first
time and discovered that it just keeps flashing the flash.
With the flash in the hot shoe, and with the camera set at "Flash," just as
soon as the flash recycles, it goes off.  From this I assume there is a ...

My Kodak Zoom 102-152 lens is in need of the front inner lens being

Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 AF-S02 Oct 2004 00:13 GMT37
Nuts. That's what I am.
I've been offered this lens at a really good price (about twice what I
paid for my new 18-70mm DX) and buying it would really be stretching the
finances just before the silly season, but I know that if I don't get it
Way to go Minolta!01 Oct 2004 23:56 GMT3
dPreview has some more pics up of the 7D.  Looks like Phil got some more
time to play with the camera and make some more interesting pictures.
Subjectively, the ISO 1600 pictures look really good considering KM is
using the same 6.1 megapixel CCD as Nikon, Pentax and others.  Even ...
