Two of my friends are getting married. They don't have the funds to hire a photographer so they were just going to put disposable cameras around and use those photos. They asked me to take a few shots. By chance I have studio equipment (Photogenic PowerLights®, Photogenic

| enlargement from prime vs. telephoto | 08 Oct 2004 02:09 GMT | 19 |
This is highly subjective but suppose I want to enlarge a portion of a photo taken with a premium-quality 50mm lens to equal that of an image area taken with a premium-quality 80mm lens. Approximately 50 percent enlargement. Is the image with the 50 just 5/8s as clean as the same

| going to Thailand, is it better to buy Canon 70-200mm IS f/2.8 lens here or there? | 07 Oct 2004 23:29 GMT | 4 |
Going to Thailand for 5 weeks starting Dec. 12. I have 100-400mm IS Canon lens, but found it's f/4.5-5.6 wery limiting for the type of photography I do on my trips (I usualy don't have time for tripod). I am ready to pay 1600$ for 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens at bhphotovideo.com

| Is Quality Control going out the window? | 07 Oct 2004 08:39 GMT | 42 |
Not wanting to start anything up, but I am hearing more than just a few reports of discontent from early 20D owners. Are there QC issues with the camera? Are manufacturers cutting QC corners just to have the latest thing out
