| Add your "Best" camera to the list | 21 Jul 2004 11:50 GMT | 33 |
Over the years I have seen a number of outstanding cameras. I am not talking bout the most advanced, or best made, rather I am talking about those cameras that have done an outstanding job of fitting the needs of the public, both pro/advanced and Aunt Fran.

| Tripod questions | 21 Jul 2004 05:10 GMT | 19 |
Many people recommend Gitzo tripods, and I've seen a lot of photographers use them. So that made me interested in them, and I took a look at them on the web. But they all seem to have leg locks that screw tight, rather than use some sort of quick release. I had a cheap tripod ...

B&H no longer offers grey market Tri-X, and their USA Tri-X is out of stock. Please tell me Kodak hasn't made the mother of all bad decisions - no Tri-X. Michael

| What photo cliches annoy you? | 20 Jul 2004 22:44 GMT | 64 |
Currently, for me, the cliche that annoys me the most is a mostly black and white photo with a colorified bright-color object, such as a red boat or a yello shirt.. or a blue bandana etc You know those photoes; it seems everyone gotta do some these day.

I would like to get a better ps camera, one that gives me greater control, than my stylus epic. I understand that companies like Nikon and Ricoh have produced certain "deluxe" ps cameras, but I am not familiar with them.

| Film Choice | 20 Jul 2004 18:33 GMT | 2 |
I was wondering what the better film would be for pushed exposures. I normally use NPZ, and have never tried Press 800. I am looking to push to 1600 - 2000 range. I prefer fine grain and as little color shift as possible.
