That's it for me!03 Jun 2004 23:41 GMT15
This probably isn't the first post on the subject, but I'm through for good
with digital photography. I gave it a fair shot -- bought a Sony F717
all-everything wonder, and that's the problem, it's all everything! To hell
with it, I'm going back to my lovely, simple, reliable,
Kodak Extra Bright Lamp Module replacement03 Jun 2004 22:29 GMT3
Hi group,
I've learned that the "Kodak Extra Bright Lamp Module" (p/n 139-3982)
that is used on slide projectors will soon be obsolete.  We are using
this part on a custom projector design.  Therefore we would like to
New Camera?03 Jun 2004 20:55 GMT10
I am considering taking my photography more seriously, and was thinking
about investing in an AF 35mm SLR - I was thinking along the lines of a
Canon EOS30 or Nikon F/N80 - any comment suggestions would be much
appreciated!  (What about Minolta/Pentax?)  A fairly broad question I ...
what to expect from a B&W film at 50 asa?03 Jun 2004 20:27 GMT41
Some days ago I shot a couple of Ilford PanF50 films developed at 50
asa in Ilford Microphen. All the pictures were taken with a Carl Zeiss
50 mm lens at f 5.6 - 11.
I used my old developing equipment and it was actually quite fun
Tamron 24-135 and Filters03 Jun 2004 18:02 GMT2
Just recieved a new Tamron 24-135 lens, and although it's horribly
plastic, it does feel very solid, and balances well on my Nikon F4.
Can't wait to shoot with it!
The question is:  How is flare in this lens with/without the shade?  I
Photographer automobiles03 Jun 2004 14:32 GMT22
Just a casual Saturday thought, but I've always thought that if there
ever was a vehicle that screamed {photographer", it's a Subaru.  Small,
4WD, kinda dorky looking, rugged.  It seems like it would be eminently
practical for those who like to go to relatively remote places that ...
[SI] "Special Moments" now posted!03 Jun 2004 09:35 GMT5
What there is of it, anyway. You guys are all chicken.

But hey, look at it this way - commentary should be a breeze to whip
through!
Whats the best way to disguise a camera?03 Jun 2004 07:15 GMT13
How can I disguise a small digital camera so I can take candids?
costs are up, why?03 Jun 2004 04:17 GMT14
Just paid $7.65 to develop 24shot roll of film(got 2 sets of prints though).
Up by a buck, WHY?
Prices should be going down because of digital's popularity not up.
Add the price of film, ability to preview and delete bad shots, and I am not
Olympus' IS line what the ~!@#$%03 Jun 2004 03:26 GMT2
Why in green acres did Olympus decide to make their
SLR line of cameras(IS) with NON-INTERCHANGEABLE lenses?????
What were they thinking?
Why would anyone want to be stuck with a 120mm lens?

Camera question02 Jun 2004 23:58 GMT11
I hope this is the correct place to ask this.  I have a Samsung 35mm
camera 105GL which abruptly just recently has stopped working. I would
like to purchase another just like it only newer with more zoom and
would like to stick with Samsung as I am completely happy with all of
SLR recommendation02 Jun 2004 23:08 GMT84
I am thinking of buying my wife a slr.  I'm camera illiterate so I need some
advice.  I am thinking of a Nikon N80 QD with a decent zoom lens.  I would
also consider a Canon of some type with a good lens.  Any recommendations?
I want to stay as close to $500 as possible.

A bag question02 Jun 2004 07:39 GMT10
Greetings, fellow viewfinder peepers.
I am looking on a Goldilockesque quest for a bag that is "just right"
- not the Big Bag whee I can pack all my stuff, not the Small Bag in
which I can take an SLR and just a couple of lenses.. but.. *drumroll*
