I just got a RICOH KR-5 Super II on ebay. I'm assuming the lens is the

Just got an A-1 and it has a problem with flash operation.  The
flashes-a 199a and a 188a-don't set the shutter speed, camera doesn't
recognize the aperture setting and it doesn't display the "F" in the
viewfinder-in other words the camera just isn't recognizing the flash.

I'm looking to buy a Contax RTS series SLR - a friend of mine uses
one, and it's probably the most solidly-built camera I've ever used.
My question is simple - what is different between the RTS and RTS II
to justify the higher price on the latter? Almost all of my photo time
