Every time I think I understand this, another thought experiment comes up, and I realize I may not. So lets say you have a full-frame 35mm DSLR camera (D700, or whatever) with a fixed 50mm lens, and you take a landscape picture.

Took some shots of ornaments on the tree. Nothing spectacular, just trying out a few different techniques... The first one is handheld at 1/8 second at high ISO, so is at best a soft image, probably some camera shake too. But, curious how it looks.
