speaks volumes.  They guy is right about some of the more prolific

I am looking for a lens for my son's Canon 10D and am considering replacing
my own camera in the process. (His lens is first then we'll see about mine.)
The nature of what we do with our cameras suggest a long zoom range of 18 to
200 or ideally 300 although the 300 would be cost ...

I've been researching digital cameras, and my main criteria is that it
possesses 1920 x 1080 HD video capability.  Both the T1i and SX1IS have
this video resolution.  The T1i is an SLR at $700.  The SX1IS is a point
and shoot camera for about $500.  I'm not into photography that ...

I have a digital camera which takes 720p video, which looks pretty good.  
I'm interested in one which can take 1080p HD video, that's hopefully
under $700.  Any recommendations or useful information would be much
appreciated.

Looking for a pocket sized digital camera for mostly landscape shots, but

The reason for asking i've just been asked to photograph 1500 35mm

Given that SLR makers are already incorporating piezo dust shakers,
it might not be too far a stretch to include this technology as well.
It would deal with the Bayer sensor's shortcoming and probably end the
use of the Foveon sensor.
