I need help on this one (also), as I seem to have a block in my brain
to do the math and follow the logic. Perhaps someone can explain this
in a more practical and easy to understand way?.
I just recently used my old Mamiya M645 lenses on my digital camera

Easy way to check 2 similar cameras please31 May 2009 00:30 GMT11
I've got two Panasonic FX01's.  OK it's a basic P & S, but not too bad
a one for the price I've paid.
Why 2 and why the question?
The screen on my first got broken.  I bought a second off Ebay for an
Manual focus forums30 May 2009 18:39 GMT8
I am not sure how large a percentage in these newsgroups are still
using old film cameras, or utilizing old lenses for their new digital
cameras. I strongly feel that there are much more that I originally
thought. There are two forums that I knew of, which appear to be very

How about at least TRYING to act like intelligent adults for a while?
Quite obviously neither a P&S or a DSLR is going to be what everyone needs
- if that were so, then one or the other would die. You simply can't
accept the fact that different folks have different needs and let ...

Trying again - photo sharing sites29 May 2009 00:15 GMT2
For some reason, my original question (requesting suggestions for photo
sharing sites) and the responses do not show up on my system.  I have had
this happen before, and it seems to occur if I inadvertently use the same
name as was used previously.  In such cases, I have found ...

Panasonic LZ-2 memory capacity28 May 2009 02:35 GMT12
The user manual says that 1GB is the maximum the camera can use, but
I've seen places on line offering 2 and 4 GB SD cards for it.
It may be that 1GB was just the largest thing available at the time the
manual was written. Does anybody know for sure what the maximum card
Phase One, bunch of damn fools?27 May 2009 22:11 GMT9
I use PhaseOne's Capture One software, and have for several years.  When
Capture One moved from version 3 to 4, there were many changes made.  As in,
it's completely different.  While I'm sure it's more powerful, it's also no
longer intuitive.  How intuitive was it?  I never once ...

Among the Canon autofocus lenses available is there a non-L zoom which
covers the range from 80/100mm on the short end to 200mm or so on the
long end, with optical quality at least comparable to the original 80-
