Which application is best for putting JPEG pictures onto DVD, Windowds movie maker or Windows DVD maker. I have tried DVD maker but the finalised DVD will not play on some older DVD players.

I am trying to take a picture of a pair of scissors. I have scissors on a piece of white paper. When I transfer to my PC the white paper is bluish and the glare on the (metal) scissors usually ruins the shot.

The Users Guide apparently indicates that Auto Flash (ability for it to flash as needed) is available on most modes. However it is not available on TV, AV, M, or C. Reference is to pages 38 Using the Flash and 174, Functions Available in Each Shooting Mode.
