The end of the DSLR13 Aug 2008 18:43 GMT126

Olympus and Panasonic have announced a new camera standard with no

I want a 400/500 f/5.6 IS/OS non-zoom lens . . .13 Aug 2008 18:25 GMT90

aperture at 500mm - and a 500mm f/2.8, why no 500mm prime that

Nikon 105 VR question (problem)12 Aug 2008 15:59 GMT4
I can't quite fiqure this lens out. I am using a Nikon D300 set to
manual. The problem is that I can't set the aperture to 2.8 on manual
setting.  I thought manual - set to f2.8 and it should stay there but
it doesn't. It does sometimes but mostly it won't go below f3.0. What
Beautiful day in NYC12 Aug 2008 13:14 GMT20
I went to see a friend's band last night in Brooklyn. Before I headed
over, I went down to the waterfront to take a couple of photos of
Manhattan. I went down a street right at the East River where I saw some
people congregated, and set up. There were older two guys sitting there ...

Guide number for off camera flash12 Aug 2008 01:03 GMT5
I'm posting a question re the Subject, since I seem to have lost touch
with the modern day technology in this area.  All the early years of
electronic flashes that I ever had any dealing with - used the Guide
Number as a number to divide the distance into, to determine the
Sound Recording in DSLRs?12 Aug 2008 00:45 GMT2
I'm wondering if any current DSLRs have an inbuilt microphone?  I do a lot of flora photography and find this feature essential.
The old Canon EOS 1D had this feature.

Thanks for the response on my previous question on the topic of ultra

popular topic (as I strongly feel that both the industry and the
serious consumers appear to go into the direction of pushing in/buying
