So what's a good battery charger nowadays? I'd like one that can charge 4 AA batteries independently, can be used worldwide, and can be used with eneloops.

| Recommend good multi-purpose lens for Canon EOS 400D (new SLR user)? | 04 Aug 2008 15:05 GMT | 8 |
This is my first SLR camera, and I've read that the lens it comes with may not be the best for what I want to use it for. I do a lot of walking and I'd like to be able to take v. clear pictures of small things like flowers and insects. That's my priority, but I'd also like

| Kelvin Scale - Digital Photography | 04 Aug 2008 00:35 GMT | 13 |
I have read that increasing the "warmth" of the Kelvin setting improves sunrises/sunsets. My camera does not use the Kelvin scale and I have been experimenting using the three fluorescent settings on my Fuji S5200, which adds a little yellow, red, or both to a picture.

| What causes subject to appear far away? | 02 Aug 2008 16:02 GMT | 14 |
I have a Canon 20D with a Canon 17-85mm EFS lens. When taking a photo of a skyline from across a lake, or close up of a mountain, all of these subjects look very large with the naked eye. In the photo, they look like a little spec. Whether I zoom or not, I can't get

| Homemade diffuser (on camera) | 01 Aug 2008 15:39 GMT | 31 |
Got an indoor cocktail party/silent auction shoot coming up, and I need suggestions on a good homemade diffuser which will be used on- camera. I've used a milk jug, to some pretty good results, but it's a little bulky to be lugging around. Isopropyl alcohol bottle?
