Astrophotography discussion forums?09 Jul 2008 19:28 GMT11
I need help with astrophotography software options.  I'm using Keith's
Image Stacker on a Mac (MacBook Pro, OS X 10.5).  I'm not an
astrophotographer - I'm helping a friend with his photos.  I'm looking
for a forum where I can post questions about astrophotography software
Canon SD700is09 Jul 2008 14:38 GMT2

Friends of ours called me with some surprise to say that while they were at
a local chain restaurant they noticed some old photos on the wall ...

Coney Island Mermaid Parade Pictures08 Jul 2008 16:07 GMT29
It was easy and fun to take 412 pictures. But then daunting to process
them. I finally buckled down and selected and cropped all of them. 270 of
them made it to the web. They are at:

D40 with Nikon 50mm 1.8 AF Lens08 Jul 2008 12:58 GMT2
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on my problem? I have
just got a used Nikon 50mm 1.8 AF lens that I want to use on my D40
body; obviously, I have to focus manually (no big deal) but the camera
will only let me use it at f22. If I set the aperture to anything else

printing on my color printer. I'm looking specifically for one w/ a

Camera documentation says 1GB is the limit. Has anyone tried a 2Gb card in

Why no ISO <100 ??07 Jul 2008 01:38 GMT33
Ok...
Higher ISO means more noise - we all know that...
But why don't cameras come with an ISO lower than 100?
Is there some trade off in image quality below the benchmark ISO100 figure?
