Took the plunge and just bought my first DLSR. Could so far afford the luxury of using cameras without slapping mirrors (my last camera was a Sony R1). Well, this slapping mirror is really an earthquake. When you press the

| Refrigerating Li-ion batteries | 14 Jul 2008 16:11 GMT | 3 |
I've read that the life expectancy of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can be extended if they are kept cool, so I've thought that it might be a good idea to keep them in the fridge when I'm not using them. Anyone have experience with this, and any comments on whether it seems to

| Aiptek Camera/ video | 12 Jul 2008 21:21 GMT | 1 |
I recently picked one of these up from Target for only $100. It seems ok for its purpose, but I have a couple of questions as the "Manual" says little. How do I discover what model it is (Can't find it on the camera anywhere). It says "Charger built in" Do I assume this is done ...

| Canon G9 - What is the largest SD card it can use? | 11 Jul 2008 16:04 GMT | 8 |
What's the biggest SD card I can use in the G9? All the literature I can find says 2GB but the guy in the camera store says 16GB. I just bought a G9. Very nice and the controls seem nicely done, but there is a learning curve.
