Is there an objective spec that can be used to compare depth of field for different cameras/lenses? Would hyperfocal distance be able to serve this purpose? I'm not an expert on photography. I would like to get a non-SLR camera

When I select EDIT VIDEO, I go to where my AVI files are located that I want to ADD to the EDIT VIDEO option. As soon as I highlight AVI file #1, the screen locks-up. The mouse will move but I can't click anything or move anything.

Do you ever need to (or want to) share or upload raw shots? My understanding of how raw is used is that it is best suited for post-processing to create a jpeg/tiff/png which looks like what the photographer wants and then that is what we share with friends and upload to
