Five years ago, I bought a D-100. At the time, I had a Nikon 6006 35mm camera. I
asked the salesperson when I bought the digital if I could use the lens I had on
the 6006 I don't remember the specs on the lens other than it was a Nikon. He
told me I should get a lens better suited ...

I see some of the more expensive newer digital cameras are using sensor

a friends SD700IS 1/2.3.  I found the image quality in general to better
on the smaller image sensor size than the larger 1.8.  What ...

Fast image browser19 Jun 2008 09:27 GMT20
I gave a try to Faststone, which is advertised as a fast image viewer,
but in reality is painfully slow. To make an example, on a Centrino
1.4GHz with 2GB RAM Faststone took over 11 seconds to open a 17MP image,
while Compupic took less than 2 seconds to open the same image.
