I was wondering if you all had any experience with this merchant. They
are offering a Nikon D80 w/18-200mm VR Lens for $1,049 and I am
seriously considering it but would like to learn about the merchant
before I decide.

What is the best way to convert 8mm video to DVD.  Should I use a TV video

70-200 or 70-300 for Pentax24 Jun 2008 16:14 GMT27
Can anybody recommend a 70-200 or 70-300 lens for a Pentax K20D? Should
be sharp enough for a 14MP APS-C sensor. Doesn't have to be F2.8,
because of weight & bulk & cost - an F4 lens would suffice, provided
it's sharp enough. I know that the Pentax 50-135 F2.8 is good, but would
Card size24 Jun 2008 06:28 GMT5
I am using a Olympus D-550 which satisfies my needs except for memory size.
The manual states that 125K is max but that was the biggest card available
at the time the manual was written.
My question: Is the camera capable of addressing a larger card, such as 1mb

Hi group,
I would like to put a website together and can do some coding, but
would like to cut the manual process. I see where there are templates
available and software solutions. Does anyone have any personal

is it uncomfortable when you masturbate with the D3? After you finish

Field Camera23 Jun 2008 21:09 GMT6
In my upstream oilfield business we had previously used Oly Stylus
'clamshell' style point and shoot cameras for rough, easily accessible
field use.  Incredibly durable and reasonably good quality output but,
alas, no longer available.

Time lapse photography newbie...help!23 Jun 2008 09:15 GMT2
I have recently started experimenting with time lapse photography.  I
have successfully shot sequences during the day & during the night but
where I'm having trouble is shooting a time lapse that runs during
both.  Last night in fact, I set up to shoot the sun rising over the
Nikon Capture NX2 for RAW processing?23 Jun 2008 02:04 GMT22
I've been using Adobe Photoshop's plugin to processing my Nikon NEF
images. Would there be any advantage in getting Capture NX2 to do this
rather than using Photoshop? For about the price of Capture NX2 I
could get Adobe Lightroom instead and use it's highly rated cataloging

problem with canon camera22 Jun 2008 16:22 GMT5
My parents have a Canon S1 IS camera. It has recently stopped taking
photos. It acts like it is shooting, but only shoots a black photo.
The screen works fine as I can review older photos. I suspect the
shutter is not opening.
dioptric correction of poor focus22 Jun 2008 13:11 GMT11
Just wondering if it is possible to accidentally correct, using the
dioptric correction on the viewfinder, a poorly focused shot.  (Not
that this correction would end up on the picture, of course.)
Perhaps, though, some people with eyesight quality a, wearing glasses/
