What prog will put time and date of file onto JPG image?10 May 2008 06:06 GMT2
Does anyone know of  a program that will read the time and date off a JPG
file and put it on the image itself?
I do not want to print, but save the image as a JPG file.
Thankyou in advance.

Techniques for avoiding reflections please09 May 2008 00:51 GMT13
I'm trying to take some photos of some posters (typically 4ft x 3ft or
thereabouts).  Some are mounted in glass frames.
The room is quite dark with two small windows in adjacent sides and
also has Tungsten uplights.
whats the best bridge camera?08 May 2008 21:36 GMT5
I've read that they all suffer from chromatic aberration and noise.
I've only looked at samples from the canon S5 and pany Z18.
The Canon has noise even at 100ISO and the Pany suffers from
smearing due to noise reduction. These affects seem even worse

Well, I never thought I'd spot Brett/Helen while on vacation, but I did. I
have photographic proof that they are one in the same person, something we
all *know*.

D40 / Sigma lense question(s)07 May 2008 20:07 GMT14
Has anyone had experience with a Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC used with a
Nikon D40?
Specifically, does this lense have built in autofocus motor and will it
focus sufficiently fast on a D40?
numeric range in dcraw from canon a630?07 May 2008 16:54 GMT9
I've just started messing with RAW, courtesy
of those nice CHDK chaps.
AFAIK my Canon A630 does not have 16 bit A/D
inside; but when I run dcraw -4 I *do*

Can we find an explanation of the great universe? Is there any
convincing interpretation of the secret of existence? We realize that
