Image/CCD Resolution Question16 Apr 2008 07:04 GMT7
I've just bought a new compact digital camera (Canon Ixus 85) to
replace my excellent Canon Powershot S50 on those occassions where I
don't need the manual control of the Powershot.  I've always been
happy with 5 the mega-pixel image size of the Powershot, and even

Is canon the only maker of EF-S (short back focus) lense?15 Apr 2008 12:32 GMT2
If I understand correctly, a short back focus lense does not need to bend

light, the better quality/cheaper the lense is.
Is canon DSLRs the only ones that supports short back focus lense?
Finding Your Mark With Nikon!!15 Apr 2008 12:13 GMT8
The Nikon dSLR is so amazing that there's no need for GPS or other high-tech
gadgets to find your way.  Humanity is destined for greatness on the
evolutionary chain since Nikon is in the forefront and leading the way.
God, I love Nikon!
Correcting perspective distortion15 Apr 2008 06:53 GMT28
Is there a trick in Photoshop Elements for correcting perspective
distortion?  The perspective transformation has linear correction for
the width of the image, but it doesn't have the non-linear correction
for length.  The side of the image that is widened looks squashed in the
How to take pictures with a digital camera15 Apr 2008 03:32 GMT32
I'm old school, heavy SLR's with fast glass. Elbows in and camera against
your face.
I just can't get used to these new cameras where you have to hold them away
from your body. Any hints?
Whay does my Canon 30D's autofocus work so badly on many things?14 Apr 2008 23:37 GMT16
I'm asking a question.
I used to think that my camera or lenses had a focus problem.
It's a Canon 30D and various lenses. The problem si teh same with
all lenses.
Problems recovering deleted AVI files from Canon S5 IS14 Apr 2008 23:30 GMT5
I have a Canon S5 IS with a 2GB SD card. While trying to make room on
the card I was rapidly deleting files. Unfortunately, I went a little
too far and deleted four videos that I had not uploaded yet. As soon
as I noticed, I stopped deleting and removed the card from the camera
Recommend me a flash gun?14 Apr 2008 18:58 GMT1
Looking for a flash gun to use with my Pentax K10d.
I rarely use the on camera flash, preferring available light photography.
However, I want a flash gun for odd occasions where it would be useful..
portraits of family, weddings and other events..

"Spit Or Swallow" Only The D3 Can Answer That!!14 Apr 2008 12:06 GMT15
With the beautiful days of spring upon us and love in the air, the question
that has plagued mankind for millennia has come up again.  It took the human
race till the 21st century to develop the technological breakthroughs of the
D3 to capture such events.  Had Albert Einstein a D3 ...
