I have a Fuji Finepix 602 camera. I took maybe 10k photos with it.
It started malfunctioning in the following way: very often it shuts
down, as if the batteries were bad, except that it does it even with
newly charged batteries and even new non-rechargeable batteries.

just got one and i cant find no reviews on it.. uses batteries and no
charger and wondering about it...any help would be appreciated..

While many consider the flood of spam the only threat to the group, I

My sanyo camera takes 2 AA batteries..there is no charger for it..only

Who thinks that the long term trend will be
towards full frame DSLRs and away from the C size sensor.  If that is

which is called DCIM.  What does that mean?  I might guess that DC

I had a 2gig SD card that showed 'card error' and I tried to retrieve the
pictures off it using a multi-format (CF, SD, etc) card reader (Dazzle)
attached to my USB port.  No luck. Tried lots of downloads of software to
try to retrieve the pictures.  No luck.  Got a 4gig Sandisk ...

I spoke to the Fuji repair center about my camera problem (the flash
memory door switch malfunctioning) and they say that they can probably
fix it.
