| Report on Yahoo digital photography | 04 Apr 2008 15:27 GMT | 4 |
I joined the Yahoo discussion group on Digital Photography a couple of weeks ago and promised I'd make a report after using it awhile. There is no spam. The discussions are generally much the same as rpd, though a bit smaller in number. Also, there is none of the juvenile

| Brand new Canon XSi with 18-55mm IS lens | 02 Apr 2008 19:24 GMT | 5 |
Picked up a new XSi body and the new amazing kit lens with image stabilization yesterday. Everything seems to be working great as far as I can tell. It's fun to take hand-holds inside at 1/8 sec and have them come out sharp.

| applying same "levels" correction to multiple images with GIMP | 02 Apr 2008 17:59 GMT | 2 |
If I adjust the levels using the "pick gray point" tool, how can I repeat this same adjustment on multiple images? The "Save" button under "All Channels" seems to save the values set via the "Output Levels" sliders, which I haven't set.

| How can I remove the dust which came inside my lens ? | 02 Apr 2008 17:45 GMT | 31 |
A few weeks ago, I noticed that there was some dust on my lens (this is the original zoom provided with the Nikon D70 camera) so I used a really bad quality rag (I did not know it was so bad as this time) to clean the lens.
