I'm doing something wrong, but what?! If I take a photo in jpeg and put it on my pc (xp) I can read all the exif data on it just by right clicking on the image. However, if I take the photo in raw then I cannot find the exif data, unless I first change the image to tif, then ...

When a zoom lens of a point-and-shoot is at the unzoomed position, typically about 38-40mm-equivalent, we expect to see geometric distortion toward the edges. I always thought that zooming in above 50mm. should eliminate that. But
