The idea I have is this: if digital cellphones can send messages to each other, why couldn't a camera send messages to a remote storage chip--say, located in your house--at the moment a picture is taken? I can think of at least one extremely important use: against felony

In the recent past (except for the Nikon D70/80 vs the Canon DRXT) Canon technology was a step or two ahead of Nikon in camera bodies. Nikon appears to have always made a more substantial lens but the optical quality appeared to be on par with each other.

I've looked at some news groups for binaries and seem to be getting no were but place's with, well, smut. Is there a news group that allows binaries for normal pic's with out worrying about seeing porn? I'm not lazy I did do some looking but I'm tired of loading the binary groups ...

I used to have hundreds of pix in various sets on Flickr. Just had occasion to look and the number of sets is reduced and the number of photos in the sets I checked is way low. Anybody else?

I am rather puzzled as to why cameras are restricted in these places. I always ask before producing my camera & often given ready permission. Others refuse. Artists pay big money to publicise their works and surely would welcome this extension to their display.
