On my screen, when I zoom and depress the button half-way I get a flashing icon in the lower right corner. It is red, looks like a lobster. It occurs about 90% of the time when I try and do a zoom shot (auto mode). Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on?

Just noticed that the new DSLR from Canon (the 450) is using only SD (not CF). Could this be the start of the end for CF?

Don't hear much about them any more. Printed a high school class reunion booklet on one several years back and it seemed to work at least as well as the ink jets that I also printed some copies on.

I just bought a new digital camera, a Canon A720 IS. I don't really know the real idea behind some of the options to take pictures at. Could someone guide me to a book that can get me on the right track. My user manual just says how to change the options but not what to expect out ...

I am trying to remove all white pixels from a monochrome (black and black) picture imported into Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE. The magic wand does not work because it removes contiguous pixels only. Is there any way to remove all white pixels?
