Pixel blooming in Google Earth13 Jan 2008 04:13 GMT15
I happened upon these two rather impressive blown highlights in Google
Earth, at:
150°59'49.49"E 33°49'0.68"S
(and a hundred metres or so north of that)  and and just wondering...  Is
card reader13 Jan 2008 03:02 GMT25
Can anyone recommend a memory card reader that does not assign a different drive letter
to each slot in Windows. Novell with Windows makes it an impossible chore
to cope with.

Opinions on P&S12 Jan 2008 23:40 GMT126
So the wife wants a nice little compact P&S... she's pretty much
narrowed her choices down to the Canon SD1000 or the Sony DSCT70.  Both
are similar specs (7.1MP), similar price.
Plus for the Canon: uses SD memory, of which I already have several

We have a Customer Service rep in the office who has to not just
review images but has to be able to get CMYK values of color

Viewing LCD in bright light12 Jan 2008 17:25 GMT87
Previous threads and postings have bemoaned the problems of viewing an
LCD in bright light which is particularly a problem when there is no
viewfinder on the camera. Our current camera lacks a viewfinder.  Does
anyone know of any work-arounds?  I have tried putting a dark cloth

Can I Use a 4GB CompactFlash Card in an Old CoolPix 995?12 Jan 2008 12:01 GMT6
Through an unfortunate series of mistakes, I ended up with a 4GB
CompactFlash card. The only device I own which uses CF cards is a
Nikon CoolPix 995 camera, but when I insert the 4GB card and attempt
to format it, the camera gives an "Out of Memory" error message.
Happy enigma about crappy Sigma12 Jan 2008 07:56 GMT37
My Goodness! Had a Sigma 50-500 in my hand in a store, when I thought I saw
a small scratch. I played a little with it, but a hole piece of the matte
plastic came of and showed the shiny plastic underneath!
Here they sell for 1300,- euro, or about 1800,- US dollars. For that ...

Could someone give me the detailed procedure to access the Photoshop
Elements news group in forums.adobe.com.
I think that is the correct forum name but it seems that I cannot access it.
I need to know the settings for Outlook Express for Windows XP.
