My Photo instructor takes pictures at a local horse track during the
races  for the different owners. She mentioned in class that her
pictures during the race are always taken so the horse moves from
"left to right" as it creates the look of speed within the picture!

I came back from holiday with some great pics, and a LOT of 3 pic

    --I'm using a Canon S1-1S at the moment but I'm planning to upgrade
soon. What I'm looking for is a camera with a viewfinder that can "see" (in
infrared?) so I can accurately frame an image in pretty much total darkness.
Anyone seen such a beastie?

Wondering if anyone has had this problem before.
My wife and I shot a long video (approx 750 megs!!) on our Canon Ixus
70.  We've tried to download it, but without success.
We've tried on a Mac, using the software that came with the camera.

Tech question: the file loader my friend uses does not accept jpegs

I know this is an old topic but would value refreshment. I normally download
from my Canon 350d to PC using Canon's ZoomBrowser Ex via USB. I find this
not too slow and it automatically puts files into the directory I want.  I
notice that some posters recommend a card reader.
