Filter List for rec.photo.digital, 24 November 200701 Dec 2007 15:33 GMT5
In the on-going effort to de-troll r.p.d., I have automated the

listed on eBay this morning, and the one with a
Buy-It-Now price was sold in minutes (I was the 13th
Canon 30D... What is the latest revision?01 Dec 2007 13:41 GMT3
I've got a chance to buy a 30D used, or to buy one new. The price is

know about? If buying one, should I insist on a certain revision/
Camera batteries (& other functions) in the cold?01 Dec 2007 13:17 GMT5
15 years ago I went to the Winter Carnival in Quebec City, Canada with
a Canon AE-1, which was pretty old even then. The temperatures ranged

IrfanView - Viewing files from folder?01 Dec 2007 09:33 GMT14
IrfanView is without doubt my favourite image viewer. But there is one
operation I need many times a day that it seems unable to do. With a
Windows folder open, sorted to my chosen sequence, I want to view a
consecutive selection of files. Or maybe the entire folder. But
Adobe Bicubic Smoother upsize vs Genuine Fractals01 Dec 2007 07:12 GMT30
Here's a comparison of Adobe Bicubic Smoother resizing in current
versions of Photoshop against Genuine Fractals v5. For a large amount of
realistic detail, I started with a 400x400 crop of leaves from my
Panasonic DMC-FZ8, and then upsampled to 200% (565x565), 300% (700x700),

Canon S5 IS "telephoto"01 Dec 2007 04:18 GMT9
I am enjoying my new Canon S5 and have purchased the Lensmate add-on

I am looking to purchase a teleconverter/telephoto to boost the lens
