32 Megapixel (!) Harvest Moon Photo12 Dec 2007 07:22 GMT99
Here is an image I made of last night's Harvest Moon
It is 32.2 Megapixels (5696x5656 pixels) and was constructed from about
18 separate images using Photoshop Elements Photomerge.
The left image is reduced to 13% of original; the right image is a 100%
Compatibility with SDHC cards??12 Dec 2007 04:23 GMT2
Camera is Canon S1 IS - about 4 years old
According to Sandisk it will take CF cards up to 16gb.
I've bought an adaptor so that I can use SD cards in it instead of CF.
This adaptor works fine with the SD card I've tried which is 1gb.

Is there something else which is better value with similar price range
and zoom range? What would beat TZ3 under $300 list or $250 street?

Who is Jesus?
Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the
second person in the "Holy trinity." However, the very Bible which is

looking for a practical home printer11 Dec 2007 08:16 GMT9
For serious work I take my files over to the photo shop and have them
print them on the big Kodak printer, but like most folks I
occasionally need to print stuff at home.  I currently have a somewhat

Pentax istD flash problem10 Dec 2007 22:58 GMT7
I purchased a used, very clean, Pentax istD. It has a pc terminal on it,
but nothing I connect to it works. The hot shoe works with off camera
flash units and if I put a hot shoe with a pc terminal on it also fires
my studio flash. I looked in the book and can't find anything ...

Deleting images10 Dec 2007 08:53 GMT10
I heard that you should not delete images by using the on camera delete
function. It is best to download all images to a photo editing program
and delete from there. Deleting while the card is in the camera will
damage the card.
