Here is an image I made of last night's Harvest Moon It is 32.2 Megapixels (5696x5656 pixels) and was constructed from about 18 separate images using Photoshop Elements Photomerge. The left image is reduced to 13% of original; the right image is a 100%

Camera is Canon S1 IS - about 4 years old According to Sandisk it will take CF cards up to 16gb. I've bought an adaptor so that I can use SD cards in it instead of CF. This adaptor works fine with the SD card I've tried which is 1gb.

A friend has posed the following question: If I like the Panasonic TZ3, what are the competitive offerings from Nikon, Canon, etc? Is there something else which is better value with similar price range and zoom range? What would beat TZ3 under $300 list or $250 street?

I purchased a used, very clean, Pentax istD. It has a pc terminal on it, but nothing I connect to it works. The hot shoe works with off camera flash units and if I put a hot shoe with a pc terminal on it also fires my studio flash. I looked in the book and can't find anything ...

I am looking for software that can eliminate dulplicate image files on my hard drive. I would like this software to find all duplicates so I can eliminate them before backing up the image files to a DVD. Ideally, the software should be able to identify identical image files

I heard that you should not delete images by using the on camera delete function. It is best to download all images to a photo editing program and delete from there. Deleting while the card is in the camera will damage the card.
