ZC Dream Photo Editor is better.29 Nov 2007 06:58 GMT3
Recently, ZC Dream Photo Editor is so popular that I download it from
http://www.zcstar.com/. For beginner, I think it's better because we
don't need to learn it for a few days.

"rec.photo.digital.txt"  and "rec.photo.digital.dat" Filter Data Updated and Posted28 Nov 2007 19:52 GMT3
In the on-going effort to de-troll r.p.d., I have automated the
extraction of the trolls' e-mail addresses from my newsreader's filter

reader's filter list if it is capable of importing text files of e-mail
8Gigs of Memory is NOT Enough for a 3 Week European Trip28 Nov 2007 19:41 GMT18
The Canon 40D supposedly gives 80 RAW photos

Last post was a suggestion to someone to use a Sensor Klear Pen to clean
his sensor ... after using a blower. A day after seeing the post it was
where's the newsgroup adjudicator???28 Nov 2007 19:30 GMT57
These 4 newsgroups used to be 4 of the best for digital  and Photoshop
postings but now they seem to be swamped with crap from misfits like MI5.
Surely the newsgroup adjudicators can control what is shown on these forums.
Where are you??
Making a lightbox?28 Nov 2007 03:51 GMT22
I'm about to try some selling on eBay and wondered if anyone had any
suggestions on making a lightbox.  I'll be trying to sell cameras,
books, other three-dimensional objects.  What kind of lights and how
many for my Lumix LX1 p&s digital camera?  What materials, etc?  It

Orange Colour Cast28 Nov 2007 03:16 GMT17
A post below mentioned 18% grey, which started me thinking about white
balance temperatures.  Here is a photo I took of my nephew this weekend. OK,

Canon S3IS and Cokin Filters27 Nov 2007 23:28 GMT3
I have a Canon S3 IS camera and would like to attach a polarizing filter to
it.   As some of you may know the S3 has a retractable lens barrel.   I feel
the only solution is to use a "Cokin" type filter.   If anyone has
experience of this combination or something similar I would ...
