I have a Speedlite 166A that I used a few times on my Canon S5is, until someone told me I could damage the camera with it. I quit using it, but is it really unsafe to use on this camera? The recommended flashes are 220EX, 430EX, 580EX. Thanks

I dropped my Panasonic DMC-TZ1 camera on concrete and now it makes a horrible noise when it's on. Sometimes the noise (sounds like grinding gears) stops but the autofocus does not work. It does take pictures and the zoom works and video works. But everything is badly

Last summer I bought a pair of Powerstorm Canon NB-4L equivalent batteries from ukdigital.co.uk, and the first one recently started giving poor performance although I think it's only been through 20 or 30 power cycles.

Where is the Minox sized digital, 4-5 megapixel, 1/1.8" sensor and (at most) a fixed lens of about 35mm equivalent focal length, with 1 G internal memory?

After being pleasantly surprised by the answer to my post on DOF Cheating, I thought I would ask another somewhat similar question. If you take several aerial photographs, like the satellites do, but from an airplane, is there any software to help put all the photos together
