sigma em 140 dg na ittl  and d8019 Oct 2007 01:24 GMT1
I am going to have a look at a second hand  sigma em 140dg ring flash to use
with my nikon d80.  I heard that there might be compatability problems
between this flash and the d80.  Has anyone heard anything about this?

ACDSee 10 Photo Manager18 Oct 2007 20:50 GMT5
Just wondering whether anyone here is using ACDSee 10 Photo Manager.
And, if so, what your experiences have been.  I think that it's only
recently been released (Version 10), so perhaps it's not being widely
used yet.
Which A3-printer??18 Oct 2007 20:37 GMT7
Which  A3-printer is favorite?  For n/w and color.
The HP Pro B9180, de Epson 1800, the new 1900, 2400 or 3800.
Or the Canon 9000, 9500?
Please convince me.

wide screen monitor18 Oct 2007 16:37 GMT3
I have a new wide screen monitor and images now appear somewhat "stretched".
Is there a way of viewing them as they really are?
Few Facts Of Digital Cameras18 Oct 2007 16:34 GMT8
You can store the images in CDs or hard disk. Once the pictures are
transferred from digital camera to the computer, permanent storage on
a CD or hard disk is possible...

Nikon Coolscan film adaptor help!18 Oct 2007 10:46 GMT4
I bought a Coolscan LS4000-ED a while back which only came with the
APS adaptor. This was ideal since I only wanted to scan a bunch of APS
films, which it worked for fine. However, now I realise that I want to
scan a few negative strips too (long story!). The problem is, I'm not

Are all LCD viewfinders terrible?18 Oct 2007 04:40 GMT31
I bought a Canon SD800is for a Grand Canyon hiking and rafting trip.
To save the battery, I primarily used the viewfinder, not the LCD.
Now that I'm back home with easy access to electricity, I have started
using the LCD.
Cameras - how cheap is China18 Oct 2007 01:37 GMT11
I'm going to China in December and my wife needs a new Canon Powershot
or Ixus 960 or similar. The going rate here is around £250 from Amazon
but is comes with the security of guarantees etc.
What could I expect to pay in Beijing?
Shooting a live concert: RESULTS18 Oct 2007 00:30 GMT8
OK, this was really cool. It turns out that the concert venue was a
reeeeeally small club. The room must've been 25x25, connected to a
restaurant and bar. I positioned myself five feet from the stage with an
18-200 VR lens. I was going to try it without flash, but there was an
canon 400 d17 Oct 2007 21:50 GMT2
Ik heb een canon 400 d digitale camera gekocht, alles ok, behalve de
software.. die is in het Frans.
De taakbalk is in het nederlands maar de uitleg verder is dus in het
Frans.
Automatic White Balance17 Oct 2007 21:18 GMT9
Can someone please explain how Automatic White Balance (AWB) works?
Do most of you use the AWB setting?

More concert photos: Stardeath17 Oct 2007 15:33 GMT1
This was the opening act on Monday night. I took some with on-camera
flash, and some with ambient lighting. But I've found that the ones with
a single color light completely blew out the sensor. (Especially because
the lights were either green, red, or blue.)
