smudge on mirror26 Aug 2007 02:49 GMT18
Hi all, accidentally smudged the mirror on my Canon 400D while changing
the lens.
I assume a microfiber cloth is fine to clean it off?
Need advice on Olympus E-20 batteries please.26 Aug 2007 02:49 GMT2
I'm looking at the Reference Manual of my recently acquired Olympus
E-20 camera and, in the battery insertion instructions, it clearly
states, "the lithium battery pack CR-V3 cannot be recharged".
Since there are currently NO batteries in the camera, I went to E-bay
Espon 2200 tire tracks26 Aug 2007 02:21 GMT3
This afternoon I am printing some snaps on Fuji Premium Plus glossy
paper. The last rollers in the printer that touch the print on its way
out are leaving tracks in the print. Is this paper so slick that the
ink sits right on top?

ISO 25600? Holy crap. Slap on an f/1.2 lens and you're ready to shoot in
total darkness.
Telescope versus telephoto (check out this moon shot)26 Aug 2007 00:47 GMT2
This isn't my shot but is within reach of anyone with a good small

Canon A70 - purple screen problem - no image except now and then25 Aug 2007 22:50 GMT3
Has anyone had any problem with the A70 suddenly not being able to
photograph (shows a more-or-less purple screen on the LCD, with some
horizontal lines occasionally), and then once in awhile after being on

anyway acceptable?

Current Waterproof P&S cameras25 Aug 2007 17:03 GMT7
In addition to my 20D, I currently have a Canon S50 and a waterproof
case that I use at the beach, snorkeling, and to take some windsurfing
pictures.  The s50 plus case works fairly well, but is bulky and it has
a crack in the optical viewfinder lens.  So, I'm looking for a new

Sony DSC-H3 vs Nikon P5000 vs Canon G925 Aug 2007 08:58 GMT2
Anyone try the new Sony H3 yet?  It looks like a G7/G9. How does this
one compare to Nikon P5000 and Canon G7/G9 ?
I thought Nikon introduced the P5000 line to compete against the G7.
