Quick lens hood advice anyone?27 Aug 2007 13:29 GMT16
Hi all, I recently purchased a Rebel Xti with two lenses: a 70-300mm
and a 17-85mm.  Is there a single lens hood that I can buy that will
work well with both?  In either case, what would you recommend I buy?
Thanks for any input!

Using Nikkon Lenses on Canon Bodies (and vica versa)26 Aug 2007 16:02 GMT11
After reading the post on the Canon 1D mkIII lots of people are talking
about using Nikkon lenses on the canon cameras.
While I have heard of this as a possibility I always thought that it left
you with manual focus and the cons outweighed the pros.

18mm or 20mm lens26 Aug 2007 07:33 GMT9
I'm looking to buy a wide angle or wide angle zoom lens for my Nikon D50. It
needs to be 18mm or 20mm at least and my price range in $200 to $300. I
would prefer a single length lens or a short zoom. Any thoughts on a good
choice?
Fuji 9100 /9600 and Hyper utility PC control ?26 Aug 2007 05:58 GMT1
Does anyone know if the hyper utility of Fuji allows for PC remote control
of the camera?  So can you shoot with the computer? An English firm claims
you can, but I find nothing else on the net and Fuji is very unclear about
it. In the manual it says that the software is for the ...
Old light meters vs. digital cameras readings26 Aug 2007 04:08 GMT31
Nothing spectacular here, just an observation.  I happened to run
across my golden oldie of a light meter, a Norwood Director, which I
first acquired around 1950 and used for all my film shooting
thereafter.
TIP: shooting with your dominant eye26 Aug 2007 03:18 GMT20
The first thing I learned when I was a sports marksman with handguns, was to
