unreadable photos and a new macintosh02 Aug 2007 23:17 GMT3
A few years ago on a trip to Bali, I took many photos with a new Fuji
digital camera. I loaded them onto my Macintosh (system 9.1) and
enjoyed sharing them with family and friends.
Since then I upgraded my computer to an eMac (system 10.3.9) and some
Image Editing software - drop shadow02 Aug 2007 23:17 GMT1
Does anyone know of an Image Editing application that will EASILY add
a Drop Shadow to an image (ideally in a single click) ?
I have most of the popular applications but none of them seem to
facilitate this without going through a series of tedious steps
Need new home use printer02 Aug 2007 22:26 GMT11
I just discovered I have to replace my HP photosmart inkjet 1115

After using the photosmart portion of the old printer, I soon found I
preferred just using my Adobe PhotoShop software, so the new printer
aperture and fixed zoom lens non DSLR02 Aug 2007 21:31 GMT14
I keep reading about apertures of F/22 for story-telling photos, showing
foreground grass in focus as well as background mountains in focus. My
shiny new non-DSLR digital camera I bought (Panasonic Lumix FZ8) only
can close the aperture down to F/8. Does this mean I can't get those

appear to have the colour and sharpness that I like. am I biased
Canon G7 or something simpler?02 Aug 2007 16:23 GMT4
I have a question for anyone that would be willing to provide some
advice.  I have been looking for a digital camera and narrowed it to
the Canon A710 (which, I realize, may or may not be discontinued but
is still available online at least) or the Canon G7.  The 2 cameras

Nikon's NXCapture Software - Opinions?02 Aug 2007 12:26 GMT6
Just wondering whether anyone here uses Nikon's NXCapture software for
photo-editing/manipulating.  If so, are you using it just for RAW, or
for JPEGs too?
I downloaded the trial version, but haven't had a chance to really try
R380 Epson Inks02 Aug 2007 06:29 GMT4
Recently I purchased a set (6) of inks (super size, 77 series) from
the Epson store for ~  $122 to use with my R380 printer. Yesterday, I
found two other sources for these inks (regular size). Best Buy has
the 78 series for $15.99 (each of six), and Office Max has them for
