Need cheap camera with good macro.  Overall pic quality not all that
important, but must take fairly good close-ups.  Samsung digimax comes
to mind.  Any others please?  Thank you.

My wife's Panasonic LZ2 P/S camera can accept AA Alkaline, NiMH, or
Panasonic Oxyride batteries, and it has a separate setting for each.
They specifically advise AGAINST using Li batteries.

I'm puzzled why red text which I use to annotate or title my images
usually appears blurred on my PC screen, yet when the same JPG is

I have a D40 and manual focus Kiron 105mm macro prime lens.   I cannot
focus to infinity on the D40(all manual mode and focus of course).
Focus perfectly on old FM2 Nikon 35mm.

I'm looking at a camera that uses CR-V3 Li Batteries or RCR-V3

How do I reduce the file size of my photos on Picasa?  I have
attempted to order prints from the Picasa site after editing but when
I attempt to send to an on-line printer service (ie., Walgreens,
Walmart, etc.) I get a "file to large to download" message.  HELP!!!
