Pixmania sucks, lies and doesn´t give your money back31 Aug 2007 19:11 GMT15
5 weeks after I returned my Panasonic, because of false advertising (the
camera didn´t perform as they said), Pixmania still doesn´t pay me back. Oh,
it´s in the system and they KNOW I returned it to the store, but they
"can´t" pay me back until it has arrived in Paris!

How about photographing slides?31 Aug 2007 11:02 GMT5
In order to digitalize some thousand slides and save time (more than 1' to
scan a slide...) I wonder whether it exists some "adapter" to photograph
slides with a digital camera (I remember photographing slides was used to
obtain photo prints with analog cameras)
EOS10D focus problems31 Aug 2007 08:57 GMT1
Having some problems with autofocus on an EOS10D using 24-70 F2.8 L series
and 70-200 F2.8 L series.
With both lenses, the autofocus works fine when they are near the top of the
zoom range (above 50mm and above 150mm), but is much less sharp when near/at

I am a beginner in photography.
Actually is it really required to sharpen every image? Also heard the
cameras have built in capability to sharpen image to an extend.
When I done a small search, it is found that Unsharp Mask technique is
Color differences between Sony and Panasonic30 Aug 2007 15:09 GMT2
I have always used Cybershot cameras and grown used to their saturated
warm colors. Now I have my first Lumix (DMC-TZ3 with a nice zoom from
wide) but am pretty shocked by the coldness of the colors often when
set to AWB. Veering towards blue and green. Is there any way of
Going Out On A Limb With The Mk III30 Aug 2007 11:28 GMT28
It was a hot and miserable day weather wise to be hiking around the lake,
but the old Mk III caught its second wind and kept up like a true trooper.
You never know what you'll find when you look up.
