| Mermaid Parade Pictures | 26 Jun 2007 03:16 GMT | 3 |
This year's Mermaid Parade had suburb weather, so it had a record turnout. Of the 435 pictures that I took I put 307 of them on the web. This is a family oriented parade that is *very* fleshy. Come see the pictures at: http://donwiss.com/pictures/Mermaid-2007/

| Why does older CoolPix-995 work with scopes, and DSLRs will not? | 26 Jun 2007 03:15 GMT | 34 |
Perhaps this should be posted in a "Digiscoping" news group, but I don't believe there is any such. Anyway, for several years I've been using my CoolPix-995 successfully with a Swarovski AT-80-HD spotting scope, and would like to upgrade

| Sandisk 12 in 1 Card Reader | 25 Jun 2007 15:33 GMT | 4 |
I looked for reviews on this reader and found some dated back in 2005. Many gave it 5 stars, so it appeared to be an excellent product. But for some reason, the specifications for the current product SDDR-89-A15 have never been updated by many vendors that carry it, so the fact that ...

| dsc-f717 Sony recall replacement not good | 25 Jun 2007 14:23 GMT | 2 |
I have a DSC-F717 which was part of the recall. It did go bad, and I sent it off for repair. However, since they *repaired* it, it just doesn't work as well. When I try to take pictures in auto mode, the camera has a hard time

| Nikon D80 vs Nikon D200 | 25 Jun 2007 07:55 GMT | 24 |
I have a D50 and love its light weight and stellar metering. But I'm not sure it's a combat-ready body. I'm considering the D80 for its better metering, or the D200 so I don't have to worry about bonking it about. Any thoughts, opinions, watch-outs would be helpful.
