Flash Advice Needed26 Jun 2007 23:44 GMT29
I recently took some shots at 40th birthday celebration, an afternoon tea at
a grand hotel. The room we were in was quite dark; all wood panel and dark
leather sofas, with no natural light. As a tripod was out of the question I
knew flash was the way to go. Although some pics are ...
Nikon D40 vs D40x?26 Jun 2007 22:27 GMT12
I'm thinking of buying my first digital SLR and have read great things about
the D40 and D40x. While the D40 only has 6mp and the D40x has 10mp, I read
that the higher pixel level doesn't necessarily deliver better picture
quality.
UPS and my new Canon Mk III26 Jun 2007 20:44 GMT2
Finally!  The UPS man is strolling up the driveway this afternoon with a
nice brown box under his arm.  Can it be true?  Can it really be my new Mk
III?  I'm so excited!  If it is true I have some kisses for him.

Nikon DX and lenses Full frame26 Jun 2007 18:25 GMT19
Does anyone have any feed back on whether Nikon will go FF with its
cameras (dx2 excluded). I just bought a 105 micro with vr that is for
full frame cameras and am looking at the 17-55 2.8 which is DX.
I must say I dont understand why they manufacture a new 105 micro that
Type M or H xD card for FujiFilm F20?26 Jun 2007 18:01 GMT1
I need a 2GB xD card for a FujiFilm FinePix F20.

I see that there are differences between the Type M and H cards with regards
to data transfer.
Seriously: Tit Shots?26 Jun 2007 17:14 GMT3
If you watch much TV or DVDs you will see lots of Tit Shots where a woman's
breast is highlighted in some way or another.
Is this technique something that should be applied to amateur photography
too?
SDHC and SD100026 Jun 2007 16:53 GMT11
Hi Every one,
I have purchased a new SD1000 Camera, Canon Says its SDHC card
compliant. But has any one used the new card on this camera and does
it really work. If so, which brands work well on this camera.

What is Paris Hilton Reading in Jail?26 Jun 2007 16:30 GMT11
Curious? Last Tuesday (June 12th), París Hilton got a new book in the
mail. A copy of  'Daydreams & Nightmares' by James E. F. Riley, Sr.
( ISBN: 1-4116-7924-5, available at: www.lulu.com/content/210331 ) was
delivered to her at the L.A. County Jail.
SDHC and CompactFlash card reader?26 Jun 2007 14:49 GMT9
I just got a 4 GB SDHC card only to discover than my old multi-card reader
won't read it.  It handles SD cards, but apparently not SDHC cards.
Searching the web yields very little. Can anyone recommend or knows of a
multi-card reader that will do at least SDHC and CompactFlash ...
Street Photography; What to do with  people pictures on my website?26 Jun 2007 07:54 GMT26
I've got a few nice shots of strangers taken at street festivals and
similar public events.  In most cases, the people knew that their
picture was taken by me, a stranger and they didn't indicate any
objection.  In general, we never talked.  None of these pictures show
Noise Ninja V Photoshop26 Jun 2007 04:35 GMT3
I am curious.  A lot of people use Noise Ninja for reducing noise in photos,
even though they have Photoshop.
Isn't it possible to reduce noise to the same level with normal Photoshop?
Wi-Fi memory cards coming to cameras26 Jun 2007 04:30 GMT1
Wi-Fi memory cards coming to cameras
It's an SD memory card with built-in networking. Sounds cool, but will
you spring $100 for it when it's released later this year?
