Easy Fix for Infamous Canon E18 Error16 Jun 2007 18:51 GMT3
I own a Canon A60 Powershot which just recently started giving me the
E18 error.  After turning on the camera, the lens would sometimes
almost fully expand and other times it would only expand about half
the way or less and then shutdown with several beeps.  The first thing
2Mb xD16 Jun 2007 18:31 GMT9
Is there a reason to be wary of the 2 Mb card?
Just asking because a friend has one and it is showing a Card Error after
one use. Would it be better to have 1Mb cards?
Why not do moire filtration in post-process?16 Jun 2007 18:16 GMT33
Is it possible?  It would allow for full resolution exploitation of a
sensor if this could be done in PS
or some other program.  In some instances, moire never shows up, in
others it does.  Why not leave the images where it doesn't show up
Question about photoediting a picture onto a backdrop16 Jun 2007 16:51 GMT3
On occasion, I'll need to, starting with a snapshot of a person, need to
"dress it up" a bit so it looks like a studio picture.
I'm not a whizbang with photo editing, and I don't have the best
software (an ancient version of Paintshop Pro 4.2 or 4.x), but I can
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H7 settings?16 Jun 2007 15:00 GMT6
I may have missed something obvious - but how do you set things like
aperture, shutter, and ISO on the DSC-H7? The owner's manual is at

I cycled thru the MENU and HOME buttons and did not see how to set

Hey there,
Can you use a good lens brush on a digital camera
sensor,
before you try the pad & fluid method ??

Sony DSC-T100 System Error16 Jun 2007 02:54 GMT4
I have just bought a Sony DSC-T100 with a 2GB memory stick pro duo.
The camera works fine when I turn it on without the memory stick
inserted, but as soon as I put it in I get a C:32:01 error and System
Error message appear on the screen.  Any suggestions? or is this just
OH! CRAP!! 1D Mk III Production On Hold!!16 Jun 2007 02:22 GMT3
This is a very sad day indeed!  Who would have thunk it that Canon would
release a dSLR without testing it for AF problems and banding?  Why is Canon
fighting their customers like this?

Hi..any suggestions for a decent portable storage device? i am going to be
in an area without electricity for 3 weeks and need a decent storage
solution...I am looking to take around 200-300 RAW photos a day with my
Canon 400d and unlikely to need so many CF cards ever again ...
[official word]... what happened to "Perfect-Touch" ?15 Jun 2007 22:12 GMT7
+    The pros here may snicker at this, but I myself was
impressed with the older Kodak "Perfect Touch" processing
services... also, excuse me if this repeats... I myself may
have whined about it here some time ago.  Here is the issue.
Canon Powershot S5 IS15 Jun 2007 18:04 GMT1
Anyone have any hands-on experience with this new offering from
Canon?  Am thinking of getting one.  Like the idea of the hot-shoe so
I can do bounce flashing, yet have a relatively small camera.
Thanks
