battery question - nimh vs hybrid nimh01 Jul 2007 00:50 GMT10
I took some standard nimhs (Lenmar Nomem 200mah) out of my charger, my
brother put them in his camera, and the camera immediately reported the
batteries were too low to run the camera.
Then I gave my brother my hybrid nimhs (Uniross Hybrio) from my cordless

Why not make the sensor larger?30 Jun 2007 05:25 GMT341
It seems like the biggest weakness of mid-priced cameras is noise/iso issues
due to small sensors.  Well, why don't the manufacturers use a larger
sensor?  How much larger would it have to be to eliminate the worst of the
noise and provide a useful iso range?  Would the increased ...

Good Lens/Bad Lens?29 Jun 2007 23:55 GMT6
I am thinking of splashing out on the Canon 70-200 mm f4 USM L lens for my
canon 400d and read a lot of favourable reviews.
A lot of the reviews, however are very excited about having a 'good copy' of
this lens.
Coolpix 5700 dead: replace or repair?29 Jun 2007 22:33 GMT21
My Nikon Coolpix 5700 died after four years of usage. Picture counter
shows 5074, which I don't think is a huge number. Okay so it still
works, it just looks like someone was holding their finger over the
top half of every shot. Except instead of being dark, the majority of
LowePro Dryzone Rover29 Jun 2007 17:05 GMT1
I am looking for a backpack to carry a DSLR and one other lens/spare
battery - to be used while cycling on/offroad. The Lowepro DryZone Rover
looks a good possibility, but... I have searched LowePros site, but
cannot find out how big the built in 'bladder' is - Does anyone know.
Sigma or Nikon Teleconverter29 Jun 2007 15:26 GMT1
I have a Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 I'm using with a D200.  I'm not sure if the
Nikon teleconverter will work with the Sigma lense.  I would imagine it will
but I just want to be sure before I shell out some money for it.  I know
Sigma has one but I'd rather have the Nikon.
