preference of techniques for inserting copyright notices29 May 2007 13:37 GMT5

task of inserting a copyright notice into a digital image while you're
processing it.  Type it in by hand every time, or create a separate file
you paste in, or somethineg else?

Colour space setting impacts RAW?29 May 2007 03:42 GMT8
Somebody claimed that the colour space setting even impacts the RAW data
on some cameras, because the gains of the amplifiers of the invidivual
colour channels apparently are different under different colour space
settings. Is this true and for which cameras does this hold ?

Nikon falls out of the blue and into the black!28 May 2007 13:16 GMT2
It's been a busy day getting ready for tomorrow's party.  The pool is clean

ready to pipe tunes from the old dual Xeon SCSI based MP3 server, and most
of the food prep is done.  With all that going on I still ...

I just noticed that changing from normal to macro mode does not cause
any repositioning of the lens assembly.

I recently purchased a Pentax K100D.  Do any members have experience
with external flash units for this camera.  I can live without a
swivel head, but I do want to be able to bounce it off the ceiling.  A
swivel would be a nice bonus.  If you feel I should stick with the
