I just got an XTi and have played around with most of the settings.  I
have noticed that in Auto the ISO is always 400.  Should it not vary
with the different scenes I have been shooting?

For the sake of argument let's say I have a 60mm macro lens with a minimal
focus distance of 20cm and a 1:1 magnification. Because of the cropped

I was wondering, what is the advantage of many autofocus points? When
I use autofocus on my 400D I sometimes have to hunt for a focus point
to focus at a particular point.. I often switch to manual selection of

So I have had this LExar 1GB card for almost two years now, and today
when I loaded it into my camera, I got a blinking [FOR] error message
and couldn't shoot until I formatted.  So I did.  Now I'm trying to
