Need Timestamp Workaround07 May 2007 11:37 GMT10

text from  a newspaper or computer screen, image store products, document
home projects and record voice.
The camera does an very good job at these tasks IMO and the only complaint I
Confusing camera product names and series07 May 2007 09:58 GMT14
I still have a hard time to figure out on how the major camera

and series designed on purpose to confuse the consumers? Or are they
as confused as we are (in trying to sell products which cover our vast

I typically shoot on-location portraiture and candid photojournalism.
Does anyone have advice as to lighting equipment recommended for
shooting a commercial indoor remodeling job? The shoot will carry me

Print size 7 MP compact vs 6 MP DSLR07 May 2007 06:38 GMT20
I have a 7 MP Oly SP550UZ and the 8x10 prints I make from it and my
previous camera the C-7070WZ  look very sharp to me. I use a HP 3110
printer set to maximum resolution. I have read that 7 MP should be
just about big enough to print at 8 x 10, but the maximum print from a

tell; just looking to shoot the breeze.  He is a WWII vet and former
cement worker - worked on and then ran a crew which poured, screeded

An ExpoDisc question; What dorection do I point it?07 May 2007 04:27 GMT6
Reading the online description for teh ExpoDisc, it says you point
your camera, with a disc on the lens, at the light source and take a
well exposed shot and then set teh camera to custom.
When I am indoors, do I point it directly at one of the incandescent
Tutorial for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom07 May 2007 02:29 GMT2

searching the web for some free tutorials. Indeed I could find a lot

Which filter is best to put on a 50mm 1.4??07 May 2007 01:11 GMT25
I just bought a canon 50 mm 1.4f for my 400D. I want to protect the
lens with a filter.. but I have no clue what filter to buy. Will a
filter give me poorer images? I've read something about loss in
contrast when using filters.

printers - canon ip4300 vs 6300?06 May 2007 18:56 GMT2
What is the difference in performance between these 2?   The 6300
has more ink colors if I understand correctly and I thought that
this was supposed to give better quality pictures.
