Online foreign buyers, tax09 May 2007 09:57 GMT1
I want to buy a camera from a company abroad such as Pixmania or B&H
but worry that on arrival I'll be hit for vat and customs import tax.
Anyone know the odds for or against the chances of being hit and how do they
go about it....do the courier company collect import/vat charges ...
Samsung GX-10 - wow!09 May 2007 08:46 GMT61
Just in case anyone was wondering whether the Samsung GX-10 (K10D clone) is
as good as the Pentax version, wonder no more - it's better.
Having owned both cameras I can state that the Samsung JPG algorithm
produces noticeably sharper (yet also smoother) results.

CF Card problem09 May 2007 03:45 GMT16
Maybe someone has seen this before.  I have a 512MB CF card that I'm
trying to copy some pictures to.  It'll load a little over 120 MB, then
tell me the disk is full, though it also tells me there's 383MB left.
I've tried deleting the files, reformatting the CF card, neither has
Typical grey card exposure? (particularly 400D/XTi)09 May 2007 03:35 GMT35
I finally joined the ranks of DSLR owners, buying a 400D/XTi.  To me, it
seems to underexpose (in JPEG mode) by 1/2 to 1 full stop.  There has
been much discussion in forums about whether this is really
underexposure or not, whether it's good or not, whether all 400D's do it

What are the chances09 May 2007 00:46 GMT1
If I buy a camera from Pixmania in France or B & H NYC what are the chances
I'll be hit for VAT and or import duty when the package arrives in Ireland?

Increase Your Manhood08 May 2007 20:43 GMT13
This is one of the few sites that offers great information and
devices, for penis enlargement, that really work. You'll be excited
when you see the end result. Well worth buying. I've been using it for
3 months now and have gained 4 inches. Give it a look. You'll love it,

How do i convert regular digital photos to widescreen (16:9) format?08 May 2007 17:34 GMT7
I just got a new digital frame and it is a widescreen photo frame
(16:9 aspect ratio). All of the pictures that I have are the regular
(4:3?) format. I want to know if there is a way to convert my pictures
to a 16:9 format without making them look stretched... ??

I'd like to come up to speed on low-end video cameras. Does anyone
know any online discussions?
A Usenet group would be great.
Thanks
