| Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM | 14 May 2007 08:42 GMT | 19 |
I have a Canon digital Rebel with a Sigma 18-200 zoom, was very happy with this lens, until I got a Canon 100-400 IS. Now I am considering replacing the Sigma with a Canon EF-S 17-85 IS. Any 17-85 users out there with opinions?

| Corbis: Does this look like a career path? | 14 May 2007 07:49 GMT | 37 |
Should a young photographer consider this kind of work as a potential career? How good do you have to be to have your stuff here? Or is it another Who-you-know deal? How about Corbis in general? What kind of background does one need, to

| Did it - K10D | 14 May 2007 07:47 GMT | 2 |
Well, after months of agonizing over K10D vs K-100D I ordered a K-10D and a couple of SanDisk 512 cards this afternoon. Looking forward to playing with it and my bag full of legacy K-mount lenses. Time for the first major K10 product recall.

Hey, all, I have a Kodak DX7630 EasyShare camera that I bought, IIRC, just under 2 years ago and it recently started giving me a problem. The problem was that it would turn on by itself sometimes when the wheel on the back that is used to turn it on was pressed or moved in a

Does anyone have a Ricoh Caplio R5 camera? Mine turned up yesterday and was working fine (in mass storage mode) but today it will not connect to any computer I try. It just sits there saying "Connecting" but never does. I followed the instructions in the manual to the

| Sigma 30mm f/1.4 | 13 May 2007 23:44 GMT | 8 |
I just got one of these lenses today. So far, I'm quite impressed with it, it feels nice and solid, and the images are brighter than the darkened room I'm taking them in. The autofocus is smooth and silent on my D200. No images to post yet, but maybe later today or tomorrow.

| Vivitar X60 anyone? | 13 May 2007 20:30 GMT | 2 |
I'm starting to narrow my choices for a pocketable P&S to take on a long trip later this summer. I want everything for as little cash as possible, of course... The new Vivitar X60 seems to have a good spec for a pocketable -- 10Mp, 6x zoom, image stabilisation, a large display, CCD

My Canon S1 IS suddenly quit working and is showing E16 error on the LCD display. I found total two messages on the Internet with this error - so, it doesn't seem to be a common error.
