NimH battery chargers that charge cells individually?14 May 2007 08:17 GMT10
Of all the NiMh battery chargers that charge cells individually on
the market, in your opinion, which one is the best if money is no
object?
Which one is the best value for the money?
Corbis: Does this look like a career path?14 May 2007 07:49 GMT37
Should a young photographer consider this kind of work as a potential
career? How good do you have to be to have your stuff here? Or is it
another Who-you-know deal?
How about Corbis in general? What kind of background does one need, to
Did it - K10D14 May 2007 07:47 GMT2
Well, after months of agonizing over K10D vs K-100D I ordered a K-10D and a
couple of SanDisk 512 cards this afternoon.  Looking forward to playing with
it and my bag full of legacy K-mount lenses.
Time for the first major K10 product recall.
Problem and Fix for Kodak EasyShare DX763014 May 2007 07:39 GMT1
Hey, all, I have a Kodak DX7630 EasyShare camera that I bought, IIRC,
just under 2 years ago and it recently started giving me a problem.
The problem was that it would turn on by itself sometimes when the
wheel on the back that is used to turn it on was pressed or moved in a

Ricoh Caplio R5 not connecting to any computer14 May 2007 00:12 GMT2
Does anyone have a Ricoh Caplio R5 camera?  Mine turned up yesterday
and was working fine (in mass storage mode) but today it will not
connect to any computer I try.  It just sits there saying "Connecting"
but never does.  I followed the instructions in the manual to the
Sigma 30mm f/1.413 May 2007 23:44 GMT8
I just got one of these lenses today. So far, I'm quite impressed with
it, it feels nice and solid, and the images are brighter than the
darkened room I'm taking them in. The autofocus is smooth and silent on
my D200. No images to post yet, but maybe later today or tomorrow.
Vivitar X60 anyone?13 May 2007 20:30 GMT2
I'm starting to narrow my choices for a pocketable P&S to take on a
long trip later this summer. I want everything for as little cash as
possible, of course... The new Vivitar X60 seems to have a good spec for
a pocketable -- 10Mp, 6x zoom, image stabilisation, a large display, CCD

Is sending camera to Canon Service for repair worth it?13 May 2007 17:31 GMT4
My Canon S1 IS suddenly quit working and is showing E16 error on the
LCD display.
I found total two messages on the Internet with this error - so, it
doesn't seem to be a common error.

Converting large multiple jpegs to small files13 May 2007 16:13 GMT3
I have hundreds of very large jpeg photo files (3-6MB each) and I want
to convert them to a smaller resolution (say under 500KB each.
Can anyone recommend a method to do this with built in Windows tools
or a good free downloadable tool?
