I'm trying to get my 5400 to download directly to the SmartDisk
Fotochute.  The Fotochute is a tiny 20 gig storage device that
theoretically can be downloaded without having to go through a
computer which would be terrific for field work.

This was this was taken with a Nikon Fieldscope 82 and a Coolpix 990.

I bought the Olympus sp-510uz. In user reviews, I read that
camera has image stabilier but it is not on by default, and I need

I've been using PICASSO to edit/file my pics.
Works fine until I want to print some pictures.
Using an 8 X 10 sheet, I get the option to print
1, 2, 4, or 8   of the same photo.

I'm thinking of having a holiday in NZ later this year and looking at

 I need recommendations for a digital photo organizing software.  I
am looking for software that can
1) Log my photos and assign a specific number of alphanumeric
identifier to each.

Well, it's not only limited to dSLRs.  After a piece of consumer electronics
or IT equipment reaches its "Sell By" date it enters a reclassification
phase.  This phase is an essential part of the item's life cycle for its
owner to recoup maximum return on thier purchase.

I'll be visiting Antelope Canyon  soon and wonder if anyone can provide any
insight on how to best photograph them, or any pointers to web pages.  In
particular, I'm interested in whether a tripod will work in that environment
or not.
