Perhaps this is not the appropriate group to be posting this question but I desperately need some advice! I would like to by a digital camera/camcorder but am on an extremely limited budget. There is a Eurocam for $115, that looks amazing on paper anyway, almost too good

The charger for my Giga One has failed. No volts output at all. I've opened it up but can't see anything obviously wrong. Output is 5V at 500mA. Any suggestions for where to source a replacement in the UK? --

My coolpix 3100 regularly dies just after it powers up - it gets as far as the 'coolpix' splash screen then dies, retracting its lens. Have tried new batteries, a different CF card and resetting all settings to default.

I shoot RAW from my Nikon D50 and it's often desirable to weed through a large number of images, keeping ones with the best sharpness (assuming all other things are equal). I'm currently using Picasa 2 to sort through the digital negatives but there are some issues...
